Our 2 girls stayed at K9 Core for 10 nights early May, 2023. We hadn't left the girls for 5 years previously so our concerns with how they would cope were massive. We had read K9's reviews and were comforted by the comments from other users. My major concern was one of our girls is from B'ham Dogs Home so of course I didn't want her to feel abandoned again! I didn't cope well on boarding the plane and the first thing on landing was to call and check in with K9. I was assured they were fine but a little shy, which was to be expected. Each day after, I called to check on them and was full of apologies as I felt I must be driving them mad. Within no time I was given an update that only someone who cared and had spent time with them to have learned so much about their individual personalities, especially so soon. This update made me smile and my holiday had begun. I knew then that they had accepted where they were and were not afraid. I have so much praise for this boarding home, my only negatives were that they couldn't take their toys for comfort. I would recommend this business for sure! Thanks to all at K9 for as you say, giving our dogs their holiday.

Visited this attraction recently - so impressed with their presentation of the history of leather and Saddlery - so many artefacts to see, going way back in history + skilled and experienced people to meet, and find out about Leather making - quite unique!

Actual free trials for visitors of all ages, eg; to make your own leather keyring in the design you like, stitching leather, seeing and feeling the whole skin of an Anaconda snake - the largest snake in the World,
lovely, well kept museum, and imaginative experience - a feast for the senses! Not to be missed!! Also, great shop for wonderful gifts.
Car Parking close, across the road - take change (£1.40)

I visited the museum for the first time a couple of days ago and it was a surprisingly lovely treat!

The staff were fantastic, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about their subject, though the superstar was Ron... An 88 years old leather worker who apparently will never retire and wants a leather coffin!!

There was a nice mix of things to see and things to do and my mother and I had a lovely time.

Will definately visit again! A+!

I have been attending Saturday courses and various talks for several years and they never fail to satisfy.

The facilities are excellent and the staff are very helpful.

There is a very adequate little cafe run by students under the careful eye of a trained manager, the selection is limited but it is what it is so if you want a light bite or a snack it is the ideal place to visit.

For visitors to Walsall who have been to the art gallery the Leather museum has much to offer, a shop, displays and food all of which are of a high standardd.

I am proud to say that I 'play' at the Leather Museum regularly and always enjoy my day.

Being locals we decided it was time we visited the leather museum. What a great decision.
Although the museum is quite small it gives a fascinating insight into the world of leather production and the manufacturing of leather goods from saddles to the Queens handbags and various other items. The displays are visitor friendly and hands on and the staff are helpful and interesting. The cafe is not to be missed and the shop sells top quality leather items at much reduced prices. All in all a great place to visit so if you are in Walsall at any time don't miss it.
Its also free entry.

Coming from Ottawa, Canada, we decided to drop by the Walsall leather museum hearing of its praise all over the city. We were surprised as we walked in with the friendly smiles and the unusual smell of leather. This unique museum contains some of the friendliest volunteers I have ever seen. Allowing you to try the equipment and giving visitors the free samples, the museum became one of my favourites. I've never shared so many laughs at a museum and I recommend it 100% to anyone.
