The recent Warrington Inspiration Awards were a truly humbling experience for everyone that attended. The Moore Foundation Chairman Nigel Garner was the very worthy winner of the Contribution to the Community Award in recognition for the difference the foundation has made to local lives and good causes.
It really was a special night at the Halliwell Jones Stadium as the very first Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards took place with amazing people from the local community recognised across a number of categories.
The evening was supported by local celebrities and dignitaries who came to recognise and present the awards to a fantastic group of local people who on a daily basis go above and beyond in terms of their support, contribution, efforts and energy which make such a difference to the loves of so many local people and good causes.
For the Moore Foundation Chairman Nigel Garner it topped an fantastic year in which his business, Moore Finance, celebrated 10 successful years and the Moore Foundation delivered some truly remarkable fund raising events including a Football Legends v TV Celebrities Charity football match, another great Charity Golf Day at Warrington Golf Club and a truly inspirational Charity Ball which raised over £12,000 for local good causes and Claire House.
