Apparently there are plans afoot to extend the tram network from Manchester through to Warrington and on to Chester.
What would the tram system bring to Warrington and surrounding villages? More people, more business, more wealth and greater prosperity?
It certainly wouldn't be a bad thing would it? Yes there will be short term traffic issues to put up with and the local landscape might look a bit 'contructive' for a while.
But overall a good addition to Warrington and surrounding areas? I certainly think so.
