Warrington's Paul Hanagan celebrated his finest hour at Doncaster over the weekend as he was crowned Champion Jockey for the first time.
Hanagan had lead the championship throughout the season but had come under increasing pressure from title rival Richard Hughes in recent weeks.
The winning margin was just 2 wins as both jockeys were unable to find a winner at the Doncaster meeting last Saturday.
Hanagan became only the second Northern jockey to win the title in the modern era.
