Warwick Christmas Light Switch On 2011 will take place as part of Warwick Victorian Evening 2011 on Thurs 24th November. Without a doubt this is always one of the highlights of Warwick's Event Calendar & a great event to kick off the festive atmosphere. Many local businesses are getting involved with special events, late night shopping & opening.
If you enjoyed the Victorian Evening then you can find an even bigger Christmas Market a short train ride away- The Birmingham German (Frankfurt) Market This happens every year and runs from Thursday 17th November until Friday 23rd December 2011. The market is the largest of its kind outside of Germany & Austria! There are around 180 stalls with some great handmade gifts on sale. You can also get into the spirit and enjoy mulled wine, German beer, German grilled sausages, pastries and cakes! Nearest stations are Snowshill and Birmingham New St.
Christmas Jumps at Warwick Racecourse - Sunday 4th December
Treat the kids to a festive day at the races at our Christmas Jumps. We have something for all of the family.

Hill Close Gardens: Family event - Getting ready for Christmas
Friday 2 December, 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Enjoy mince pies and carol singing by local choirs. Children can visit the "green" Father Christmas and take part in craft activities. Adults will be able to browse the Christmas Fair stalls. Wreaths and table decorations made from plants in the Gardens will be available. From 4pm-7pm Dec 3

The Yuletide and Farmers Markets in Leamington Spa, will be held on a number of weekends in the run up to Christmas, this has got to be a good place to stock up on those extra little treats for the festive season.
