I see that for the second time recently Warwick Cricket Club have been targetted by thieves.
I would like to think that it isn't another cricket club who are involved, as has been suggested in the local press, but it is so annoying to have been involved with lots of sports clubs and find that vandals and thieves often sneak in and steal or damage property and equipment.
Sports clubs' changing rooms often find themselves easy targets. Most sports clubs rely on a few key people spending a lot of time and effort running them and this is the way they are repaid. At a time when we're told we have a nation of overweight children and our schools seem to have little time for sporting activities it's vital all our local clubs in the Warwick area are supported not hindered by such mindless people.
