According to the council waste collection crews will be working as normal on April 29th while we'll all be enjoying (?) the Royal Wedding day! They are also reminding residents about the arrangements for collections over Easter and on the May Bank Holiday (see the table below)
If you are inundated with Easter eggs you can recycle all the cardboard packaging in your green wheeled bin and any plastic can be put in the green kerb-side box. But please remember not to include any foil as this cannot be recycled so simply chuck it in the black bin.
That's totally clear then?
If you're having a Royal Wedding party and all your recycling boxes are full you can, apparently, leave your extra recycling in plastic bags next to your boxes and these will be collected too.
