A new report has shown that business confidence across Watford has grown in 2010, significantly improving over the first three months of this year.
The report, published by the East of England Development Agency, showed that the challenging economic situation, which began in 2008, is beginning to ease, with improved cash flow and investment in Watford in particular.
Glenn Athey of the Agency commented: "The latest economic intelligence quarterly report shows that it is manufacturers that feel most confident in the East of England."
Watford and the East of England in particular has seen reduced levels of unemployment compared to similar regions within the UK, with the numbers of residents claiming benefits in Watford falling between January and March of this year.
