Tune into any of the many food or cookery programmes on television at the moment and one mantra you will hear repeated over and over is 'buy organic and local'.
Unfortunately buying locally grown, organic, healthy food can often be difficult if you live in a bustling town or city far away from any rural areas, and similar supermarket brands can be overpriced and of poor quality.
Luckily, Watford foodies can rejoice as a monthly farmer's market begins this weekend at Aldenham Social Club.
Boasting the very best of organic food and drink locally produced in and around the region, Watford Farmer's Market is held on the last Saturday of every month from 10am.
