As charity of the year we will have a range of opportunities to raise funds but also, just as importantly, to tell people about our work in the community and in the Hospice. We need £5 million a year to deliver our free services and rely on the generous support of local people, organisations and businesses to help us raise that money.
Speaking about being supported by the Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood, Declan Carroll, CEO of Peace Hospice Care, said: “Every single pound really does make a huge difference. So, showing the Mayor around the Hospice and speaking to him about what we do, and the way we can help people with life-limiting illnesses, was really important. He is passionate about our cause and we are so grateful for this support.”
