Car boot season is fully up and running now, and Watford is no different, with one of the biggest car boot sales in the region taking place over the Jubilee weekend, on Sunday June 3rd 2012.
Bushey’s Giant Outdoor Car Boot Sale will take place on Little Bushey Lane this weekend for only their second sale of the year, and is sure to be a popular destination for those not particularly interested in cucumber sandwiches, Pimms and street parties.
After the weather put paid to their planned season opening on May 20th, last weekend saw the event back in full flow after the fantastic weather we have been enjoying in recent days.
And the next car boot sale is planned for Sunday, with the weather perhaps not set to remain as hot as it has been, but hopefully not turning into a complete washout!
The doors open for stallholders at 8.30am, charging cars and small vans £11 and £13 for large vans. For the public, the doors open at 10.00 with entry fees at £1 at 10.00, 50p before 11 and 30p for the afternoon.
Disabled parking is available as are refreshments and toilet facilities.
