Everyone looks forward to the four day weekend over the Easter Period, but don't forget that this extra day off also includes some council services and in particular, waste collections.
Watford Borough Council has released details of revised dates for collections in the area.
Essentially, the collections will take place one day later for a week. This will begin with the Friday 6th April collection taking place on Saturday 7th. Then, to take into account the bank holiday on the 9th, that Monday collection will take place on Tuesday 10th, Tuesday's on Wednesday and so on.
This will continue until another Saturday collection on Saturday 14th, after which the collections will return to normal.
Please note that all bins need to be out by 6.00am as usual.
And Easter also brings plenty of packaging so don't forget that all the cardboard boxes your choccy eggs arrive in can be recycled as can the plastic elements of the packaging, by leaving them in the correct bins. Please note though that the foil wrapping cannot be recycled.
