With a wide range of events, activities and frightfests taking place across Watford around the 30th October, we take a quick look at some of the scariest thrills and frights your family can take part in this Halloween.

Local golf entertainment centre, TopGolf, on Bushey Mill Lane in Watford will be throwing open its doors to local ghosts and ghouls from the 25th October onwards, with free games for golfers in Halloween inspired fancy dress and the chance to win a Premier Family Membership worth £80.

Watford Museum is inviting local families to join in the spooktacular fun on the 29th October as the sun sets and The Haunted Museum creaks open its doors.

A chance to explore the haunted past of Watford, the event is run in association with a local theatre company, who will be recalling spooky tales of murky local history and acting them out live on stage.

Parents Paradise Watford on Greatham Road is running two Halloween parties over next weekend, on Friday 29th October and Saturday 30th October.

With fancy dress, a disco and prizes to be won, the whole centre will be turned into a haunted house for the evening and the normal activities such as go-karting will also be available.

Last, but by no means least, the King George Recreation Ground will be hosting a Halloween Trail on the 30th October.

Starting at 10am, the trail offers local kids the chance to hunt for prizes across the park with prizes for the scariest costumes.
