Employers and businesses across Watford are being offered free training to improve their coaching and leadership skills in return for mentoring young jobseekers.
The scheme operating as part of the UK wide Backing Young Britain campaign aims to help young people find employment during the economic downturn through either a job, training or work experience placement.
So far, 37 young people across the Hertfordshire region have been paired with local mentors through the programme, which helps both the candidates and mentors develop through training, education and support.
Further information about the scheme and the range of free training available can be found via the the Mentoring website.
