Watford Ladies Football Club was founded in 1970 - it's changed it's name a few times since then and operated from a number of locations but it has gone from strength to strength and is now the leading women's football club in Hertfordshire.
Based at the Sun Postal Sports and Social Club in Watford the Ladies 1st Team was promoted to the FA Nationwide Women's Premier League in 2003 and was awarded Charter Standard Club status in 2004. The club regularly fields a wide range of teams and provides football for girls of all ages from 6 years upwards.
The club is especially on the look out for Under 9s (girls born between 1st September 2002 and 31st August 2004) to join their new team. It doesn't matter about footballing experience - what matters is a desire to have fun and to enjoy sport.
