This year's Golf Day at Aldenham organised by the Watford Chamber of Commerce in aid of the Peace Hospice has ben hailed as a great success raising something in the region of £1,700 for the charity.
Against all the odds the weather stayed fine for the whole day until right near the end when sudden heavy showers got just about everybody wet! However, a little rain could do nothing to dampen the spirits of the near 100 players who turned out to support the event.
