Peace Hospice Care, Watford, has launched a new and exclusive range of Peace Poppies to mark its 30th anniversary year.
Their handcrafted Poppies, which come in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold, are available for a suggested donation of £30 and can be displayed indoors or outdoors.
Local resident Michelle Foster is dedicating a Poppy in memory of her Mother-in-Law, who received care in the Hospice’s Inpatient Unit. Michelle said: “The time she spent at the Hospice had such a big impact on our family...we were able to spend time with her knowing she was comfortable and being so well looked after.”
Dan Mason, Individual Giving Manager at Peace Hospice Care, said: “Dedicating a Poppy is a wonderful way to remember a loved one but also helps us continue to provide our free services. With a brand new, limited edition range of Poppies, we hope as many people as possible will support this year’s campaign. Thanks to the generosity of our Platinum Peace Poppy Partner, M. K. Ginder & Sons Funeral Directors, 100% of the donation you make for each Poppy will directly support local people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families.”
