Monday 30th April is deadline day for anyone interested in grabbing a place, at the early bird rate, at Peace Hospice Care’s second Nightlight Walk which takes place on Saturday 7th July 2018. This is the second year of the event which is a 5k lantern walk through Cassiobury Park and, this year, will include themed zones including a Hollywood Boulevard along the route.
As well as being great fun for families, the Nightlight Walk also gives people the opportunity to remember loved ones they have lost. Everyone who takes part will be given a Nightlight lantern to decorate and help light the way. At the end of the route, participants will be invited to place their lantern into a display, creating a stunning light sculpture that will shine as a symbol of remembrance and in support for local families in need of the Hospice’s care.
Lisa Rowland, Events Manager at Peace Hospice Care, said: “Following the success of last year’s Nightlight Walk, we are again creating a fun family event for everyone. So, whether you're walking in memory of a loved one, to have fun with friends and family, to be part of the magic, or just to show support for Peace Hospice Care there's something for everyone. I’d encourage anyone interested to sign up quickly to ensure they get a place."
Anyone interested in the walk is advised to sign up before Monday the 30th April to get the early bird rate of £18 for adults and £12 for children (under 5s go free). The rate will increase after that date. After the offer ends, prices will increase to £25 for adults and £15 for children.
