Over 350 people attended Peace Hospice Care's Lights of Love commemoration ceremony, a chance to remember those who have died, and to honour the lives of loved ones, on Tuesday 11th December outside Watford Town Hall.

The ceremony, overseen by Debbie Clare, included songs, readings, music, refreshments and the chance to dedicate a light. There were performances by Grimsdyke Bass and Watford Philharmonic Society.

This year, the Lights of Love tree was switched on by Lucy Petagine, who said: "The care my Mum received whilst at the Hospice was exceptional. I know that my Mum felt very welcome – all the staff were very attentive and caring, not only for my Mum but for our whole family and the Hospice feels like a second home. The nurses were some of the kindest people I've ever met and I will always cherish their kindness, love and support."
