The Harlequin has embraced the Christmas spirit by welcoming back the inflatable Santa, which will be proudly standing on the roof of the shopping centre in Watford from the beginning of December.
The cheerful inflatable figure, erected on Tuesday 30 November has become something of a local landmark in recent years. With his jolly red belly visible for miles around, everyone in Watford is sure to know that Christmas really has arrived!
Erin Walsh, Marketing Manager at The Harlequin, commented: “We love Christmas at The Harlequin and putting Santa back in his rightful place is just part of the fun. We hope he will be standing proud throughout the season in all weather. Now that our Christmas opening hours are running and Santa is on the roof, we know that the festive season has really arrived!
In previous years, Santa has had some problems with adverse weather conditions. However with a rejuvenated, strong Santa model in place for 2010, The Harlequin is hopeful that this Santa will stand strong against the predicted snow in December.
