Watford Borough Council’s Own the Stage returns for a second year and is encouraging local performers to take part.
If you are in a local band, love to dance, recite poetry, act or perform in any way and are interested in showing off your talent on one of our stages this summer, the council would love to hear from you!
The area outside Jacksons Jewellers, Bosleys on The Parade and the space around New Watford Market will transform into performance stages every weekend from July until September, giving Watford’s hidden talent the chance to shine.
An incredible 38 acts have already signed up to perform and the slots are filling up fast, so if you’re interested in performing, please get in touch.
The council is working with New Watford Market to promote the event and create excitement in the town. If you require equipment for your performance, you are more than welcome to borrow if from the council.
