SpiceUp, the touring exhibition of Spice Girls memorabilia, will feature hundreds of iconic stage costumes from the band, alongside thousands of nineties girl power souvenirs. The exhibition opens ahead of the Spice Girls UK reunion tour next year.
From Ginger Spice’ Olympic costume to towering buffalo boots, Spice Girls fans are invited to ‘spice up’ their lives at intu Watford from 15 November – 31 December.
Roger Binks, customer experience director, for intu, said: “We’re delighted that the iconic music exhibition is arriving at our popular retail and leisure destination ahead of the band’s reunion tour. intu centres continue to attract global brands as they’re able to reach millions of customers, whilst our shoppers can shop, eat and be entertained, all under one roof – it’s the perfect day out experience.”
Prior to the opening of intu Watford’s 400,000 sq ft retail and leisure development, the centre ranked 34th place by data analytics company, GlobalData, according to research it carried out taking into account the requirements of both tenants and shoppers. The development has now elevated the Hertfordshire town to a top 20 national retail destination alongside Edinburgh and Bristol.
