Ever wanted to meet Alice in Wonderland, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat and Caterpillar all in one day? Well, now's your chance.
They’ll be at Watford Museum for the launch of Watford Borough Council’s Big Wordfest celebration from 12noon to 3pm on Saturday 3 March. Expect face-painting, craft activities and tasty treats from the museum’s Little Gallery Tea Room – which runs from 10.30am to 4pm on the first Saturday of every month. Alice and her chums will also be paying a visit to Watford Central Library, where they will entertain visitors before their trip to the museum.
Big Wordfest – Watford’s celebration of all things word-related – is now entering its third year, and the 2018 theme of the festival is adventure and travel. Word-related events will run throughout March and April, with free and low-cost activities for anyone and everyone.
