The Harlequin is pleased to announce the SUCCESS of it's Schuh 'Sell Your Soles' promotion and the expected total of £5,000 raised for The Newlife Foundation, thanks to the 'kind soles' of Watford who donated old shoes in return for a £10 Schuh voucher.
The 'Sell your Soles' promotion took place in January and February and invited generous local shoppers to take part in a shoe amnesty!
An incredible 1,500 pairs of shoes were donated over the four week period, which means that The Newlife Foundation will be receiving £5,000.
The Newlife Foundation re-sells or recycles the shoe donations to raise money to support disabled and terminally ill children across the UK, providing them with the vital equipment that they need.
What a wonderful way for old shoes to be recycled!
