Each year, on the third weekend of May, Rickmansworth near Watford celebrates canals, the local community and the environment with The Rickmansworth Festival.
This year's Festival is set to be the best yet, with approximately 20,000 people expected to attend.
Working boat and pleasure craft displays, live acoustic, mellow, indie and rock music, community dance, drama and theatre showcases, canal boat tug-of-war, dog shows, introductions to canoeing and fishing, children's farm, trade, craft and charity stalls, real ale beer tent... there really is something for everyone!
The Rickmansworth Festival is taking place from 10:30am until 10:30pm on Saturday 21st May, and from 10:30am until 5:30pm on Sunday 22nd May.
The Rickmansworth Festival occupies are significant part of the Aquadrome Park, as well as a site running along the Grand Union Canal, between Batchworth and Stockers Locks.
There is no charge for admission, but a small donation of £2 to the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust would be greatly appreciated.
