We’re not going to lie – it's looking a little ominous out there.
According to Metcheck, today and tomorrow will see quite a lot of rain. And probably more rain. Followed by a little bit of rain.
Saturday looks a little better; at the time of writing, it will be about 20 degrees, with only a 15% chance of rain in the afternoon. And Sunday looks to be about the same temperature with even less chance of getting wet.
Of course, these forecasts do seem to change by the hour, so please do keep checking. Fingers crossed we will be able to enjoy some of the many events and activities taking place in and around Watford over the weekend.
Here is a selection of our favourites...
Barmy Army Military Weekend
Langleybury Children's Farm is the setting for this weekend extravaganza! Held in association with the North London Barmy Army, military vehicles from the First World War all the way through to modern day will be showcased.
There will also be farm animals, craft stalls, a bouncy castle and for the adults, a fully licensed bar and BBQ.

Cassiobury Farm Open Day
Cassiobury Farm's Open Days have proved so popular that two new dates have been added, one of which is Saturday 15th August 2015. Taking place from 10am until 5pm, it costs just £5, with free entry for children under 5.
It's a day filled with animal encounters, fishing, bouncy castles, face painting, food and drink, and more!

There will also be vouchers for health checks and neutering, as well as free micro-chipping.
Please call Deborah Brady on 01923 278 972 or send an email for further details.
Parkrun
Held every Saturday from 9am until 10am, Parkrun is a free 5k run at Cassiobury park for all ages. All you have to do is register online by clicking here.
So let’s keep those fingers crossed that the rain is over and done with by the weekend… and we’ll see you out and about in Watford!
