What do you think about armed police patrolling our train station platforms?
It was announced last week that the Government has decided to allow British Transport Police to carry fireams on mainline and underground stations after describing the threat of terrorism in Britain as serious as it has ever been.
Until now, the British Transport Police have not had firearms although other forces have had armed officers at stations.
It is anticipated that the armed officers will soon be deployed across Greater London and in the future could also be seen in Watford.
Commuters are positive about the announcement and hope it will allay the fears still held by many about terrorist threats.
