Top Tips to Put the Smile Back on Your Face!
It has been said that today is Blue Monday, the day when we are more down and subdued than anyother day in the year. So here are my three BEST top tips to put a smile on your face.
Get some exercise: Exercise releases endorphins (feel good hormones) which will lift your mood. If you lack motivation, set yourself a goal. You could sign up for a local event to give you something to aim for. There are loads of local events and charity walks/runs/bike rides (Waendel walk, just racing uk)
If you don't like the cold, look at joining a local gym, (Call Bannatynes on 01933 375082) The helpful instructors will help you by writing a plan and keeping you focused and motivated. The classes are also great fun and a good way to make new friends.
Do something for someone else - It doesn't have to be a huge thing, but acts of kindness always make us feel good about ourselves. (A double bonus!)
Laugh - Whether it's time out with friends/family, or a comedy show (the Castle Theatre, Wellingborough have got some great Comedy nights planned) laughing is great therapy and will definitely bring that smile back!
