It's getting brighter, and dare I say it...warmer. Almost time for Car Boot Sales.

If you've never been to one before here are our top 10 tips to help you get started and have a successful, fun Car Boot Sale.

Car Boot Sale top tips:

Be prepared!
Have a good clear out at home.
Toys jewellery, old coins, children's clothes and handbags are good sellers.
Avoid electrical goods, anything too heavy or bulky that takes up space and buyers might struggle to get home.
Know your route and start time, and get there early.
Take a bag of change, carrier bags, and display items (clothing rails, trestle tables and ground sheets.)
Find a good pitch and lay everything out professionally (punters always arrive before the official opening times)
Have your prices in mind, be prepared to bargain as a seller or a buyer - it's expected!
Don't forget your flask, a sense of humour, comfy shoes and it's always more fun if you go with someone else - then you can shop and sell!
A giggle and a spot of banter will help raise your profit margins.
