I've seen this wonderful Social Enterprise develop since its inception and am amazed at the creativity, hard work and dedication that has brought it to its current standing in the community. I'm speaking from experience when I say this Social Enterprise is life changing in the most fantastic ways. I have been with the project since the start, firstly as a volunteer and now as a paid member of staff and it has had an amazing positive impact on all aspects of my life. And I'm not in a minority. Come and visit our workshop / showroom, meet the team and see for yourselves the amazing creatively up-cycled furniture, hand crafted cushions and bags, and see first-hand the difference the project is making to unwanted furniture and household items, team members and the local community.

I am currently a volunteer at Recover and have been there since the inception. I have learned amazing new skills, including upholstering and painting to commercial standard. I have also met some of the most special people you could ever meet.people who (for whatever reason) have come into the project on the first day lacking confidence and self-esteem and after just a few visits to Recover flourish into confident and creative individuals. I smile everyday at Recover.
