Running from Saturday 18 November to Friday 15 December, residents will be able to vote for the best shop window display in the town.
One lucky resident who casts their vote will win a £50 voucher, and the business that gets the most votes will win a trophy, which will be presented by Welwyn Hatfield Mayor Lynne Sparks.
Councillor Bernard Sarson, Executive Member for Business, Partnerships and Public Health and Protection, said: “I encourage all businesses in Hatfield to get involved to help make Hatfield Town Centre even more special this Christmas, and I urge as many people as possible to cast their vote for the best display.
“I look forward to seeing all of the creative festive windows!”
To vote for the best display, collect a voting form from the council’s information stall at the Hatfield Christmas lights switch-on event, reception in White Lion House or from any shops that are taking part in the competition. Voting can also be done online at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8T25GJJ
