Rotary fund raising fun!Rotary people from Brookmans Park and Hertford joined in the fundraising fun of WGC Rotary’s Quiz Night on Saturday evening. Friends and families of Rotarians helped to make the evening a great success. 89 people were there and a total of £1035 was raised in just four hours!An eclectic mix of questions led to some thought that they were harder than others. They must have been fair because five teams were within five points of eachother going into the final round. Stewards objections during the evening meant it came down to a tie-break between the “Elderly but Don’t Care” team from St Francis Church and the eventual winners, “Strictly Come Quizzing” led by WGC Rotary Secretary, John Walton, and his wife, Coral. The SCQs carried off prizes of Prosecco to enjoy. Everyone enjoyed Fish or Chicken & Chips from Hoy Che, WGC Shoplands’ finest!
