Having always desired my own kilt/prince charlie outfit I finally decided to indulge, and purchase one for my upcoming wedding. I contacted kilts by Lindsay on the advice of members of the 1066 Pipes & Drums who spoke most highly of Lindsay and the work that he did. Having contacted Lindsay I was immediately put at ease and was given good honest advice and had no doubts about employing his services. The package arrived on time as promised and on examination I was taken back by the standard of all the items.
The kilt is superb, Naturally I love the tartan, but what is most impressive is the sheer quality, it truely stands out as a piece of top craftmanship, Lindsay must be very passionate about his trade, as the care and time that obviously went into the kilt is palpable. The sporran as advised by Lindsay is spot on and compliments the kilt perfectly, it looks great, and the accessories do not disappoint either. Lindsay is a true gent; friendly, reliable and efficent, If anybody is considering investing in a kilt then I really could not recommend this business enough, outstanding!

After a chance conversation with Lindsay, I decided to get a full outfit made for me as I had hired kilts many times for various functions.
Lindsay was able to make the outfit with quite a short lead time as I couldn’t decide intitially what I wanted and I had a very important awards dinner to go to, he guided me through the process of sizing and choosing the accessories step by step and left me completely at ease with my choices. He also kept in contact throughout the making of the outfit to let me know how things were going.
The outfit is superb and I have had many comments already about the quality of workmanship.
I have no hesitation in recommending Kilts by Lindsay to anyone who is in the market for a new kilt.

I wanted a full kilt outfit in my own tartan for my upcoming wedding and so contacted Lindsay. I received a first class service from start to finish. His attention to detail was second to none. Myself and my fiance are thrilled with the outfit especially since Lindsay helped coordinate not only my own outfit but jewellery for fiance and rest of wedding party as well. These finishing touches and personal service were superb. If your looking for quality kilts etc I would reccommend Kilts by Lindsay as your first and only stop.

I wanted to buy a complete No.1 Piperʼs outfit, and contacted Lyndsay in relation to the kilt. Living so far from Scotland, (west country) my options were not brilliant and I had already caught a cold buying things through the post which did not fit. I was so impressed by his enthusiasm and knowledge of his subject, that I actually entrusted him to the whole project. I was not to be disapointed. His thoroughness in obtaining the correct measurements paid off (I now know why he wanted my inside leg measurement!). I am absolutely thrilled with the Kilt and Plaid which he made, and the Doublet which he had specially made for me, fits a treat!. Iʼm now turned out from tip to toe in his equipment, and I feel 2 foot taller!
