Culture Shox is a new creative careers service available to all young people in Westminster. It was commissioned by Westminster City Council's Young People's Service, the Arts and Cultural Service and the South Westminster Renewal Partnership.
Dream Arts has appointed Beverley Hills as their new Creative Advisor due to her years of experience as a media industry specialist. She is a fully trained careers advisor and has worked in TV, theatre, radio, media production and script writing.
The new Culture Shox service covers all areas of the creative industries, offering free advice and guidance for young people aged 13-25. It is ideal for young people living or working in Westminster who want to access participative, training, learning and career opportunities in creative arts.
From September a half day session will take place every Saturday at the Youth Hub on Lupus Street. with another on Tuesdays at the Stowe centre. There are drop in surgeries and booked appointments available and the sessions are completely free.
