Discover how to become a foster carer by coming along to a friendly information evening, which will be held on the 6th October at 6pm, in the city hall.
Fostering is a fantastic way to make a difference to a child's life and your own. London and Westminster desperately need more foster carers and there are a huge range of fostering opportunities available. This could be anything from full-time fostering to weekend care for disabled children and you'll be given all the support you need.
The information evening will explain the fostering process and help you decide if you have the qualities needed for looking after children in care. There will also be information on how long the fostering process takes, how to get started and what help and support will be available to you. Existing foster carers will also be on hand to give a first hand account of what fostering is really like.
