Burns Night Ceilidh
  • Grand Junction, St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Rowington Close, London
    W2 5TF
Join us for a glorious evening of ceilidh dancing in celebration of Scotland’s favourite son, Robert Burns.

Don the tartan and tam o’shanters, sip some whisky and get ready to shake those floors. We’re paying homage to ol’ Rabbie Burns in a rowdy, rebellious evening of song and dance!

Our very own house band, the Ceilidh Liberation Front, will provide the soundtrack and guide you through the evening.

Bring your squeeze, bring your kilt, bring your granny, and don’t forget your dancing shoes.

The Ceilidh Liberation Front is London’s most radical & colourful live band, subverting the lore of Ceilidh with their energetic folk dance regime. They breathe vigour and vitality into the traditional ceilidh, whilst honouring its roots and traditions.

The Nest Collective invites you to celebrate Scotland’s finest in style.

Open to dancers of all abilities (no experience necessary!)

A delicious haggis dinner (with veggie alternative) will be available to buy on the night and we’ll have a full whisky bar too.

Dress code: There is no dress code for this, kilted and un-kilted are all welcome. Come as splendid as you like! Grand Junction has a strict no heels policy for this event.
