Phone for Food, the new food delivery service in Weymouth have been extremely busy in the few short months since they launched. Phone for Food is the brainchild of Jenny Nicholl and James Mitchell, with the idea for the business coming from Jenny's travels overseas and working in Hong Kong.

Jenny explained, ' Food delivery was huge in Hong Kong you could virtually order any food you wanted 24/7 from Chinese, Italian, Greek, Seafood, Mexican, whatever you fancied and it was really useful if you didn't feel like cooking or if you had a dinner party and had to cater for lots of different tastes, everyone could order different. Very useful with families when the kids wanted different food to Mum and Dad! We are very excited to be now offering this type of service in Weymouth and now in Portland and Dorchester too. More and more restaurants are taking an interest and recognising how useful and profitable this could be to them, particularly in the current climate and this is enabling us to deliver a variety of meals all delivered at once - those days of having the family feud at home over deciding whether to go for Indian or Chinese or Fish and Chips, will now soon become a thing of the past. All our food comes piping hot as we use specialist Sweetheat bags and you can often see the steam come out on arrival! We were also delighted to meet with Age Concern in Weymouth as our service is perfect for providing hot meals for the elderly directly to them."

Earlier in the month Phone for Food also sponsored the annual Chickerell United Youth Football Club Tournament. This was a massive success with over 60 teams in 6 age categories.
