The Pet Experience on the Granby, Weymouth, have just launched their own brand of pet food called 'Easterbrook's'.
Cormac Linehan who owns The Pet Experience with his wife Sarah, said, "Easterbrook's is a high quality premium dry pet food for both dogs and cats that is being made for us by the same company that makes the majority of the premium pet food on sale in England such as Burns, Arden Grange and James Wellbeloved to name a few. By not going through a 'brand' we are 'cutting out the middle man' and are able to retail this food at a lower price than other same quality foods. Easterbrook's is a chemical free diet using only 'Grade A' human consumption standard meat and high quality hypo-allergenic ingredients. As a result it would be suitable for animals with digestive sensitivity, skin complaints, hyperactivity, corprophagia (eating stools - not the sitting down type of stool!) to name but a few common food related issues."
The dog food has three adult flavours, Lamb and Rice, Chicken and Rice and Salmon and Potato. In addition there are also a Puppy and a Senior variety. The cat food offers a Salmon and Rice as well as a Chicken and Rice. The dog food is priced at £29.99 for a 15kg bag (Adult and Senior), £16.99 for the 7.5kg puppy and £5.99 for all the 2.5kg bags. The cat food is £19.99 for a 7.5kg bag and £6.99 for a 2.5kg bag.
Cormac added, "These retail prices represent a massive reduction on RRP when compared to similar quality feeds."
