As many of you will know, our chosen charity for 2009 is MV Freedom. A boat for the disabled based in Weymouth harbour which offers a unique service for the benefit and enjoyment of people who may have a disability or learning difficulty. The Skipper and all his willing crew members give their time free and freely! All funds raised go towards the vessel's running and maintenance costs.
Challenge 2009 is a stunning 25 mile sponsored coastal walk taking place on Saturday 12th September, raising funds for MV Freedom plus Stella Hayward Riding for the Disabled and Dorset Search and Rescue.
Please note, you DO NOT need to walk the full 25 miles - How about getting together with friends, family or business colleagues and do it in a relay with any number of people walking 'a leg'? - Great publicity for your business while raising money for such worthy Dorset causes.
