We aim to reach as many children as possible though our football and multi-sports programme. We have vital links with our surrounding boroughs, most notably Merton and Kingston, which has allowed us to become one of the main providers of sports coaching in the local community. It remains our goal to provide as much football to children in Merton and Kingston as possible.

Our Football Coaching

AFC Wimbledon football courses offer the opportunity for any child to learn new skills and develop their ability in a fun and enjoyable coaching environment. Any boy or girl aged 4-14 of any ability is welcome to attend and receive quality coaching from our FA qualified coaches.

Our courses are ideal for young players to develop their confidence and talent, with players placed in groups of similar age and ability to ensure the maximum levels of improvement and enjoyment. They will benefit from technique and skills coaching, fun games and competitions across a variety of differently themed sessions, covering all aspects of football development.

HOLIDAY COURSES (ages 4 to 14)

Our Holiday Football Courses are available to any boy or girl of any ability between the ages of 4-14, so come down to Wimbledon Park and join in the fun whilst learning lots of new skills! The breakdown and necessary information can be seen below. If you prefer, you can simply turn up and pay on any individual day. At the end of each week each participant will receive a gift pack, along with a voucher for 2 free tickets (1 adult & 1 child) to a selected AFC Wimbledon first team league match.

School Holidays:

Monday to Friday every week during the Summer Holidays, October Half Term, February Half Term, Easter Holidays (excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday) and May Half Term.

Times:

Full Day: 9.30 am – 3.00 pm
Half Day: 9.30 am – 12.00 noon

Prices:

£70 Full Week of Full Days
£50 Full Week of Half Days
£17.50 Individual Full Day
£12.50 Individual Half Day

Booking a Full Week gives the equivalent of one day in that week completely free!

TERM TIME COURSES

Saturday Football Club (ages 4 to 14)

Saturday Football Club is open to any boy or girl of any ability between the ages of 4 -14 at Wimbledon Park (grass surface). Saturday Football Club runs every Saturday morning during school term time.

Time: 10:00am – 11:30am

Every Saturday during school term time

Price: £6 per session (pay on the day) or book the whole of block and get the equivalent of one session free!

Future Dons (school years ‘Reception’ & ‘Year 1’ only)

Future Dons is our ‘age-appropriate’ football course open to players in either the ‘Reception’ or ‘Year 1′ school years only (ages 4-6). The course runs every Saturday morning during school term time at Kings College London Sports Ground, our youth centre of excellence venue (grass surface), and is open to players of any ability within this age range.

Venue: Kings College London Sports Ground

Windsor Avenue, New Malden, KT3 5HA

Time: 10:00am – 11:30am

Every Saturday during school term time

Price: £6 per session (pay on the day) or book the whole of block and get the equivalent of one session free!

SCHOOLS COACHING PROGRAMME

The AFC Wimbledon Schools Coaching Programme has been providing coaching to schools in Merton, Kingston and neighbouring boroughs for many years. We look to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for both Primary and Secondary school children through football and a range of other sports. The sessions are run with an emphasis on learning, development, health awareness and fun in a relaxed coaching environment.

• Curriculum Coaching (PE lessons)
• Breakfast Coaching
• After School Coaching

We are not limited to football – we also specialise in multi-sports.
