The Best of Wimbledon and Merton win Best Business for Marketing 2010/11 at The All England Club.
The great and the good from the local Merton business scene were in the Debenture Lounge at The All England Club in Wimbledon last night to celebrate the inaugural Merton Business Awards.
Attendees included the Mayor, Merton Chamber of Commerce, South London Business and a range of some of the best businesses in the area like the excellent Esente Hair (commended), Cannizaro House (Highly commended) Ruby May Beauty Salon (Highly commended and commended), Wimbledon Decoded magazine (commended), Tillman and Tsoukkas (highly commended), Gina Conway Salons (Highly commended) and many many more.
So, there we were, on a table with the lovely Julia Boggio, Paul Ensor from local insurers A-Plan, David Weston (his son played for Arsenal!) from Parker Car Service, Kaz Fernando from Kaz Fernando Make Up and Julien Upson from Chartered Accountants Hartley Fowler - all of them business members of The Best of Wimbledon and all excellent company!
And it was a winning table too!
David Weston set the scene by winning the silent auction and this was quickly followed by our triumph in the Best Business for Marketing category and Julia Boggio winning Entrepreneur of the Year. So a splendid time was had by all.
