As you may be aware we at Paul Strank Roofing Ltd are active supporters of numerous charities in and around the Merton area.
We also support various charities outside our local community and the majority of all the charities we support are specifically targeted at benefiting children.
It’s coming around to the time of year where we help out perhaps our most deserving charity, CHASE Hospice (Registered Charity No. 1042495) based in Artington, Guildford.
CHASE hospice care for children providing both nursing and practical/emotional support to families with children who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday across South West London, Surrey and Sussex.
Every year they have a toy appeal prior to Christmas often trying their best to get the toys these terminally ill children want, but often falling short of the mark because of a lack of funding, we here at Paul Strank Roofing step in here and donate toys ourselves which come from everyone, management to assistants all donating what we can to help.
So far we have raised a fair amount but as there are a high number of children being cared for this year (approximately 250).
We are looking to accept donations from other businesses locally that would be interested in making these children’s Christmas 2010 especially happy.
Presently we are taking donations of either cash/vouchers/toys/up to date DVD’s & CD’s that children from newborns to 19 year olds can enjoy.
We implore anyone and everyone that is able to donate something for these children, for many it is literally there last Christmas and we hope that working together we can collect enough so that every child can have at least one present this Christmas.
