Anyone see Pamela Anderson in panto at New Wimbledon Theatre last night?
We were there last week to see Ruby Wax steal the show. Her performance was fabulous and her script was inspired as she brought the house down. Brian Blessed was hilarious too.
However, we wondered how Pammy might fare one week later. Would she use the same script? Would she wear the same costumes (clearly not judging by these pics - the old Baywatch influences have well and truly kicked in)?
Seems she did OK too. This morning, The Times review says, "(Anderson's) prime function is sensuously, sinuously to palpitate, undulate, wiggle, wriggle and, told that evil hands all around are desperate to get hold of all she owns, to clutch with a smile at those celebrated boobs. All this she does well." Wish we'd seen that.
Apparently, when Pammy asks Aladdin in her sexy tones what she can do for him, someone in the audience shouted "Tell 'er to rub yer lamp". Brilliant.
