Following the combined ordeals of diagnosis and surgery, the next hurdle for me was to face a six-week course of radiotherapy. Breast cancer is full of new experiences and I learned early you just do what you're told to do and get on with it. But radiotherapy sounded scary and I felt daunted by the thought of 30 treatment sessions over the next few weeks. How entirely mistaken I was!
For a start, everyone at the Cancer Centre London is so friendly and welcoming. I felt immediately reassured that they really minded about my well-being: I felt as if I had become part of their team, working towards the acceptance of my illness and my renewed good health. Each appointment was arranged as much as possible to fit in conveniently with my life; treatment details were explained carefully and the sessions themselves were quick and painless. Most of all, there was a feeling of calmness, efficiency and friendship throughout the department which allayed any fears and built confidence throughout my treatment sessions.

We chose Marlin as they were based at the end of our road, they have done a lot of work locally and were a reasonable price. They undertook the following works; rear extension, loft conversion, complete re-wire, total re-plumb including 3 additional bathrooms and entire 4-bed house renovation/redecoration. We were very happy with the work and the all of the workmen were very professional and friendly. They always turned up on time, were very tidy, and the foreman communicated well with our neighbours over party wall works. None of the tasks are subcontracted and Marlin have a full range of tradesmen, which are coordinated by Dave and Tom who were conscientious and were accommodating to our requirements and they are even coming back next month to repair any minor new plaster cracks that appear. The other bonus with Marlin was that no job was too big or too small and the workmen are very resourceful with lots of initiative for solving any issues that arise along the way. Their building knowledge and construction experience was first class. They finished our house on time and it looks fantastic, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!!

I had been worn down by chronic headaches for 20 years before trying Osteopathy. Vispi took time to understand my problems before gently but expertly releasing my neck and shoulders. The treatment has markedly improved the severity and frequency of my headaches. It has been wonderful. I would recommend that if you suffer with chronic, tension type headaches to give osteopathy a try.
