This walk has been taken from fancy free walks web site and takes you through Hampshire's best village (as voted once in The Times). On this walk you will come across the great bronze-age barrows of Beacon Hill, and views of Old Winchester Hill and the Solent. Part of the route takes you along the dismantled Meon Valley Railway, giving you a very comfortable stretch. Infact, the entire walk 8.5 mile walk is easy on the feet.
