The Society is run by officers elected by the membership. It is divided into Sections which focus on
The Sections hold events including conferences, lectures, field trips and an AGM. Members participate in as many sections as they wish.

Publications: We are pleased to announce the availability of the Place-names of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The Society publishes a range of publications; members, depending on their type of membership, are entitled to receive some of these without payment; they pay a reduced fee for others. Non-members are welcome to purchase any publication while stocks last.
