The Chapel of St John the Baptist situated in The Broadway is owned by St John’s Winchester Charity and is one of the few surviving medieval hospital chapels still standing. It brings together the community of St John’s with special events such as our Founders Day Service, Easter and Christmas Carols.
Our regular weekly Chapel Services are on:-
Sunday 10.30am Holy Communion
Wednesday 10.00am Holy Communion
The Chapel is open to visitors every Thursday from 16th April through to 10th September 12.00 noon to 4.00pm. Admission is free. Leaflets can be obtained about the Chapel and there are also postcards to purchase. Visitors are also welcome to join our residents at the weekly services.
