YMCA Winchester is based in the heart of the city at St John’s House, providing a variety of services to the community. We have been serving the city for over 165 years and moved our base to St John’s House in 2009 in order to offer a city centre drop-in venue for the young people of the area.
Our services have developed over time and we now offer:
- YMCA Café – serving excellent coffee, tasty snacks and a warm welcome 7 days a week for the whole community
- Family activities – monthly sessions for all the family
- PSHE Support – support in schools on key youth issues
- School support – one-to-one and group pastoral support to vulnerable young people in local schools
- Venue hire – for community events, meetings, wedding and other special occasions.
- Youth Mental Health First Aid – providing accredited training to improve awareness of mental health issues.
