A choir with high standards
Bach’s B minor Mass and Rachmaninov’s Vespers are among 2013’s programme. We regularly use top orchestras and soloists. All members have to pass an audition (though it is short, stress-free and doesn’t involve sight singing).
A choir where people matter
Bucking the national trend, the choir continues to flourish and expand. With a membership approaching 130, we are renowned for our blend of high musical standards, fun and friendship.
We pride ourselves on our choral family atmosphere where everyone is warmly welcomed and valued. We provide MIDI files and recorded CDs of the repertoire we’re learning so that no-one feels they can’t cope with new music.
A choir with a social conscience
We are regularly involved in Civic events and celebrations including Remembrance Services and Titanic events.
We regularly support young musicians in Southampton.
