When Karen Simpson had the idea of organising a get-together for the members of WLOW I don't expect she envisaged what happened last night.
Over 75 women, all connected to Old Windsor, descended on Punto, the Italian restaurant in St Luke's Road, Old Windsor for an evening of fantastic Italian food and wine, and great company.
Punto put on amazing hospitality and the choice of music was inspired. Put it this way, there was a lot of singing and dancing!
I don't often eat pizza so it was a real treat to have a Florentina - and they deliver so I now know where to ring if I want a take-out :-)
The only downside for me was that I was unable to get round and meet everyone, and the noise of the chatter meant it was kind of hard to have a sensible conversation at all at times!
So I am really looking forward to the next one Karen, and we should all be grateful to Gary Fielder for having the foresight of starting WLOW and bringing the community together.
A BRILLIANT evening. Can't wait for more photos - mine aren't that good!
